BMC Teammachine SLR01 Disc made for UCI Continental Team Qhubeka
The BMC Teammachine - the premium Teammachine.
For the 2022 Season, BMC overhauled its BMC Teammachine SLR01, where SLR stands for Super Light Racing; it's BMC's premium Teammachine. The former Teammachine came with external cable routing. In contrast, the new Teammachine SLR has an all aero setup with an integrated cockpit and features the Aerocore racing design look with all the latest technologies.
Integration, weight and comfort
The T's critical focus points in development were on integration, weight and comfort, and a disc brake only approach! A clear demonstration of BMC's commitment to integration is the CKP ICS carbon handlebar and stem combination and the integrated Aerocore bottle cages on the frame. The cables route internally from the hoods, into the bars, through the stem and the head tube.
Responsive aero bike frame
Furthermore, BMC has worked intensively to improve both the rigidity and the compliance of the Teammachine SLR01. Extensive work has also been applied to the Teammachine's aero abilities - an absolute must-have for any lightweight bike in the age of aero bikes. Out on the road, the Teammachine SLR01 is ultra-responsive, absolutely lightweight, suitably aggressive and insanely fast.
To top it all off, the Teammachine is also comfortable, offering endurance bike levels of comfort in a lightweight bike frame without sacrificing its performance.
The BMC Teammachine is the perfect choice for flat races, your next Grand Fondo, or perhaps Grand Tour!
