Description

De Rosa King Ultegra - 57cm - Special Israel Cycling Academy edition. Official Team bike 2019.

The King-series is De Rosa's climbing bike and is designed specifically to address the needs of long-distance, high-performance athletes. It excels by providing comfort and agile responsiveness while maintaining a low weight. Consequently, it is one of the finest expressions of the use of carbon fibre in bike frame development.

The bike comes equipped with the best components tested and proven by the World Tour Team Israel Cycling Academy. It is set up with Shimano Ultegra shifters and derailleur. A defining high-end feature of the bike is the rear brake which is positioned directly behind the bottom bracket. This significantly reduces drag and gives the bike a clean, smooth design.

The frame is made from the best carbon fibre composite materials available. It is designed to give a more racing-oriented feel, i.e. by reducing the trail of the frame. In addition, the bike is equipped with internal cabling for added aerodynamic benefit, while the brakes are direct mount for optimal braking responsiveness.
