Brand new Kask Protone ICON road helmet passing the stringent WG11 International Safety test, for increased protection.

The Protone ICON helmet is proof that a helmet can both be aerodynamic and comfortable. To be comfortable the helmet has to be light and the Protone is just that. It weighs in at 230g (size M) without compromising safety. Kask uses its Multi In-Moulding Technology to create a polycarbonate cover for the top, base ring, and the back of the helmet’s shell. This is joined to the inner polystyrene cap via Kask’s In-Moulding Technology to improve the shell’s shock absorption.

Its strengthened frame further reduces the risk of an impact from breaking the shell. Finally, the top area is reinforced with an internal sub-structure that increases crash protection and helps maintain the helmet’s integrity after impact. To help you stay cool, Kask uses the innovative multi-layer open cell construction process to give you maximum comfort and performance, while the CoolMax technology boosts both its breathability and sweat absorption.

A rubberized Micro Dial adjuster provides improved finger grip, while the floating cradle contact points combine internal gel pads for optimum comfort. These supports are designed to oscillate freely through 180° allowing a perfect fit on any shaped head. The Skeletal Brackets of the cradle have been designed and refined to provide the best fit and support whilst being as light as possible.
